Edward Tait: From Institutions to Independent Living

I don’t remember much of when I was a young boy. You see, I was an orphan. I do remember living with three or so foster families. In 1947, when I was seven years old, the Children’s Aid put me in an institution in Orillia, Ontario. I went to school there and got most of my education from then to 1953. And guess what? We never had to do any homework.
